Maris Pointe power, phone and internet services have been restored. The community is back to normal operations.
We truly appreciate your endless support, patience and trust in caring for your loved ones. And a big THANK YOU to our associates for your selfless dedication, care and support of all our residents’ health and safety during this difficult event. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has a loved one impacted by both Hurricane Helene and Milton.
10/13/2024 Morning Update
Maris Pointe is still operating on backup generator for power, and phone and Internet services are still down. While we’re experiencing this interruption, residents continue to enjoy daily activities and receiving visitors to the community.
We will continue use of the designated Hurricane Communications Hotline call center line 800-992-6615 and should a caller have emergency communication that needs to be relayed to a resident or associate, the call center representative will take a message and reach out to one of our community contacts; the contact at the community will then relay the message and return emergency calls as soon as possible.
We will continue to post updates here and on our Facebook page as information becomes available.

Maris Pointe is open and residents are enjoying visits from friends and family. The community continues to run on back-up generator, with phone and internet services to be restored soon.
The designated number to reach the Hurricane Communications Hotline call center is 800-992-6615 and should a caller have emergency communication that needs to be relayed to a resident or associate, the call center representative will take a message and reach out to one of our community contacts; the contact at the community will then relay the message and return emergency calls as soon as possible.

Due to Hurricane Milton, Maris Pointe is currently without power and phones; however, the entire building remains operational on generator power. Residents and associates are safe and comfortable, and the community has prepared food and water supplies. Most importantly, the community’s life safety systems remain fully operational.
We have initiated a Hurricane Communications Hotline where we will provide timely updates via the community website, our Facebook page and through an official call center. Maris Pointe has prepared for possible interruptions to operations, and has ample supply of back-up water to support the community.
As we continue to monitor and prepare for the approaching storm, our focus is on the wellbeing and safety of our residents and staff. Our goal is to remain in communication with you to ensure you’re kept aware of loved ones’ safe keeping. As we continue to prepare for the upcoming storm, we are confident in our current plans to manage the possible circumstances that could arise.

We continue to very closely monitor the arrival of Hurricane Milton. If the decision is made, Maris Pointe has a contingency plan for evacuation to relocate residents to a sister community. Please check back for updates here and our website for the latest developments.

Dear Family & Friends,
We are closely monitoring Hurricane Milton as it makes its way towards Florida. We have spent considerable time preparing for the storm, including stocking up on supplies and emergency items, but also understand storms can be unpredictable and will post any vital updates that impact our community.
